Joshua Weis is a caring, thoughtful and patient physical therapist who was able to help treat my ankle instability and lower back pain through a combination of approaches. Most physical therapists I've seen focus primarily on delivering exercises, but Joshua Weis combined this approach with massage, ultrasound, and e-stim which rounded out the therapy and ultimately provided better results. I will be visiting him again with any future issues and highly recommend!

I have had the most amazing experience with Dr. Weis. He very quickly got rid of some significant neck and sciatica pain that had been very bothersome. He has since helped to diagnose and treat some other postural issues that have improved my daily comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Weis and Mt Washington Physical Therapy!

I was recently treated by Josh Wies for successive, unrelated, injuries spanning almost 16 months. I would like to share my gratitude for the care and competence in treatment demonstrated by Josh during my many visits to his office. His "bedside" manner and approach to problem solving was reassuring and most effective. (As long as one follows his guidance for treatment.) Josh's months-long efforts have given me the "return-to-normalcy" results that make this commentary a pleasure to convey. I recommend Josh not only for for his excellent skills as a medical professional but also for his pleasant & mild-mannered demeanor.

I got a next-day appointment. My vertigo was cured. But the BEST thing was discovering a medical practice that is run the old-fashioned way: with caring, un-rushed pace, patience, follow-up calls to check in?? Who does that anymore? Joshua does. He is a gem. I cannot begin to describe the full range of excellence practiced here. Top to bottom a wonderful place if you need physical therapy, or in my case vestibular physical therapy. Unreal.

I went to Mt. Washington Physical Therapy for treatment for a broken foot. Joshua was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I’m back to normal range of motion, swelling is decreased, and pain is fairly non-existent. Thank you, Joshua!! I would recommend you to anyone!

I have used Joshua as my physical therapist since he joined Mt. Washington Physical Therapy several years ago. He is, without question, the best physical therapist who has ever treated me. Josh taught anatomy at Boston University for 7 years. I believe this gives him an edge in his profession. There have been days when I have literally crawled into his office. After he treated me, I was able to briskly walk out. In addition to being a great physical therapist, Josh is an extremely nice person with a high level of empathy towards his patients. I highly recommend him.

I was living an active lifestyle until 2.5 years ago when I developed a musculoskeletal injury to my right groin that lead to chronic nerve pain in the pelvic area. After multiple visits with different specialists in the MD/DC area with unsuccessful treatment pathways, I was about to give up. In one last effort, I thankfully found Joshua Wies. His initial assessment was very thorough and he is an exceptional listener. By the time I got into his hands, I was extremely discouraged. The psycho-social affects weighed on me as equally, if not more, than the physical pain. Joshua has a great understanding of the full affects (mind, body, spirit) of chronic injury. He explored every avenue of treatment options and kept a positive outlook, encouraging me at every visit. He made it so easy for me to trust in his expertise. I had not formally exercised in 2.5 years and during my treatments with Joshua, I began walking at a faster pace and eventually incorporated some jogging. I am nearly back to my baseline abilities and my nerve pain has significantly subsided, which is huge! I recommend Joshua Wies to anyone needing assistance with a chronic (or acute) injury.

I saw Josh a few times over 2-3 weeks for pain in my lower back caused by a vehicle accident. I previously had chronic back pain and the accident made it worst. My back has never felt better, it's like the pain disappeared. Also, he is a great conversationalist and I enjoyed our chats every session. Kathy is very friendly too - we had some issues with my insurance company but she persisted and had it taken care of. I like the private parking as well.
